About Us
Broadway Pharmacy is independently owned and managed by Pharmacist Bipin Patel since 1983. Bipin is registered with General Pharmaceutical Council and his registration number is 2028108. He studied at School of Pharmacy, University of London and graduated in 1982 after completing a year’s training with a Major National Chain. Bipin is assisted in the pharmacy by Pharmacist Raj, Dispensing Assistants Kaye, Sue, Martina and medicine counter Assistant Susan. A pharmacy student and a trainee pharmacist also work regularly in the Pharmacy.
Broadway Pharmacy is at the heart of the local community, serving it for over 50 years. It has been in its current location since Feb 2000 after being housed in ASDA Bexleyheath for 5 years. Although unable to confirm, Broadway Pharmacy stated in the 1950 under MR W Smith about 100 yards from its current location before moving to 243 Broadway in the 1970’s. The pharmacy is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and the premises registration number is 1084017 and is also approved as a Training Premises for pre-registration training. It is also a member of the National Pharmacy Association.
The pharmacy is located at 172 Broadway Bexleyheath in between Asda and Christ Church and opposite Pizza Express. There is ample pay and display parking in the ADSA and also in the Broadway Shopping Mall. Additional parking is available in Oaklands Road and SuperBowl car parks. All the car parks provide for wheel chair access.
Broadway Pharmacy is a fully functional pharmacy with emphasis on Healthcare. It provides a full NHS and Private prescription medication service, over the counter medicines and general health medicines and supplements. The pharmacist is available without appointment for advice on prescription medicines, treatment of illness with over the counter medicines and general family health matters.
We aim to give the highest possible standard of service to our patients at all times and our experienced staff will work hard to know our customers and build their trust. We offer a wide range of products, clinical services and facilities for you and your family in a clean and welcoming environment We are caring community pharmacy creating working relationships with other local health professionals. Our work is based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as a part of NHS system.
Our aim is to develop and deliver pharmacy services to our local community using skilled staff, modern facilities in a professional and friendly environment.
